Read the sentences below. Think about the punctuation. Add punctuation marks as needed, and then press "Check."

Scientists are discovering that animals can think and communicate their thoughts.
Gorillas and chimpanzees are close relatives of humans therefore scientists have worked with them to study animal intelligence.
A young chimpanzee named Kanzi knows as much grammar as a two-and-a-half-year-old child a gorilla named Koko uses sign language to communicate with her trainer.
Most people believe that parrots can only imitate but they don't understand what they are saying.
However, a parrot named Alex talks and seems to understand what he is saying.
He can answer questions about the color shape and size of a toy and can tell what it is made of.
Alex can also feel furthermore he can communicate his feelings.
One day, when Alex made several mistakes in answering a question he apologized and turned away.
Another time, since Alex became sick his trainer had to leave him overnight in an animal hospital.
The hospital was a strange place so Alex didn't want to stay there alone.
As the trainer was going out the door Alex cried out, "Come here. I love you. I'm sorry. Wanna go back."
Dolphins also show emotion during training.
They cry excitedly and race back to their trainer when they are correct.
When they are wrong they look sad and act depressed.
These few examples show that even animals with small brains are smart and have feelings.
